San Diego Coastal Homestays is dedicated to bringing people of different cultures and nationalities together to learn about each other in a fun and entertaining environment.

This Summer's program includes sightseeing tours to some of the most popular destinations in

San Diego and Los Angeles as well as full day trips to Southern California's favorite attractions

such as Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, and Sea World.

For anyone interested in learning to surf, we offer a "learn to surf" program from June 26 to July 24, taught by one of San Diego County's premier Surf Schools- Surfin Fire.

What You'll Find on This Website

On this website we'll share some information about SDCH, our programs, our students and host families. The mingling of cultures and sharing of ideas is sure to enrich everyones lives. Host families will learn first hand about different cultures and societies in the comfort of their own home, while students are able to visit one of the most fun and exciting places on earth, Southern California, from the safety of a caring home and family. Both have the opportunity of building a friendship that can last a lifetime.

Outbound Programs

(Great for Senior Trips)

We are currently working with our agents in Spain and Australia to provide the opportunity for American students to travel to Australia or Europe in Summer 2210. If this is of interest to you please use the Contact Us page to let us know where you would like to go. These trips would be available to individuals and small groups.

Custom Programs for Individuals and Groups

In addition to organized Summer programs we offer homestays throughout the year for both individuals and organized groups. We can provide total immersion homestays with full freedom to do as you please. We also provide organized school group programs any time of the year. These programs can include ESL classes, surf instruction and day trips to the most popular attractions in San Diego and Los Angeles. We can also provide trips to San Francisco and Yosemite National Park.
